What We Do

Youth Empowerment
HYCA offers mentoring programmes, activities, advice and guidance to our youth to make them resilient and focused to enable them to make positive contribution to community.

Adults & The Community
HYCA supports black and minority communities facing challenges such as ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or social barriers.

Activities
We deliver targeted programmes and activities designed to enhance well-being, build resilience, and empower individuals to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Empowering Communities
HYCA is committed to planning, organising, and delivering evidence-based health programmes and activities that uplift black and minority communities. These initiatives include running food banks, conducting health checks, hosting health education focus groups, and arranging outreach sessions to ensure accessible support for those in need. By working closely with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders, HYCA strives to address both immediate needs and long-term well-being.
In addition, HYCA serves as a critical resource for ethnic minority young people (up to the age of 30) by providing guidance and assistance alongside physical, educational, and social activities. From mentorship programmes to sports clubs and skill-building workshops, HYCA’s approach fosters a supportive environment that empowers young individuals to realise their full potential, contribute positively to society, and shape resilient, vibrant communities.
